Nine people injured in Russian attack on Kharkiv, including three children

A Russian strike on Kharkiv's Novobavаrskyi district this morning wounded nine people, including three children, and damaged 38 private homes, Mayor Ihor Terekhov said.

Terekhov also reported that a vehicle was destroyed in the attack and a commercial pavilion was damaged.

Previous attacks on Kharkiv

The strike follows a series of Russian attacks on the city. On Wednesday morning, Russian forces hit a private home in the same Novobavаrskyi district with a Shahed drone and continued striking the city throughout the day. Four people were wounded in Kharkiv that day, according to police.

Russian forces also shelled other communities in Kharkiv Oblast, with casualties reported in the villages of Pysarivka and Slatyne.
