26 injured across Ukraine as Russian missiles and drones strike Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Chernihiv oblasts

Russian forces launched 546 aerial weapons — 22 missiles and 524 drones — at Ukraine overnight into Monday, striking 34 locations across multiple regions and injuring at least 28 people, Ukraine's Air Force Command reported.

The attack included 14 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles launched from Russia's Rostov Oblast and occupied Crimea, and eight Iskander-K cruise missiles from occupied Crimea.

wThe drone component consisted of Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas strike drones, as well as Parodiya decoy drones launched from Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, and from occupied Donetsk and Hvardiyske in Crimea.

As of 8:30 a.m., air defenses had intercepted or suppressed 507 targets — four cruise missiles and 503 drones of various types. However, 18 missiles and 16 strike drones hit 34 locations, while the wreckage of downed drones fell across 11 additional sites.

What are the consequences of the attacks?

Russian forces struck six districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with missiles, drones, artillery and aerial bombs. At least 26 people were injured, 18 of them in the city of Dnipro, including two children.

In Dnipro, approximately 20 apartment buildings and private homes were damaged, along with two kindergartens, a school, a mosque, a university building and a tram.

Additional casualties were reported across the region: a 76-year-old woman in the Dnipro district, men aged 36 and 40 in Kryvyi Rih, a 74-year-old woman in Kamyanske, a 65-year-old man in the Synelnykove district, and women aged 32 and 46 in the Nikopol district.

Russian forces carried out a mass drone attack on Odesa Oblast, injuring two people — an 11-year-old boy and a 59-year-old man.

Drones struck three residential buildings in the Kyivskyi and Prymorskyi districts of the city of Odesa. One single-story home in the Prymorskyi district was destroyed; others sustained damage to facades, roofs and windows.

A Russian strike sparked a fire in a private home in Kropyvnytskyi district, Kirovohrad Oblast. The roof caught fire, burning across approximately 40 square meters. Rescuers extinguished the blaze swiftly and no residents were injured.

Two people — aged 54 and 25 — were injured in Chernihiv Oblast on Sunday and hospitalized. In the regional capital, two vehicles caught fire and a two-story building was damaged.

In the Ripky territorial community and the town of Horodnia in the Chernihiv district, private homes and an unused commercial building were also damaged.
