Ukraine’s General Staff confirms attack on ammo depot in Russian Belgorod
Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit a number of Russian military targets both in the occupied territories and within Russia on June 8 and overnight on June 9, reports the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Ukrainian military confirmed an attack on an ammunition depot near Prokhorovka in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. On June 8, Telegram channels posted photos and videos showing the fire.

View in Telegram.Russian command posts were struck near the Mykilske and Shevchenko Pershe in the Donetsk region, as well as near Naumivka in Russia’s Belgorod region and Iskra in the Kursk region.
Russian UAV command posts in the areas of Shevchenko Pershe in the Donetsk region, Zaliznychne in the Zaporizhzhia region, and Oleshky in the Kherson region were also targeted. A Russian logistics hub was struck in the Fedorivka area of the Donetsk region. Warehouses containing supplies and equipment were successfully attacked in the areas of Mykhailivka in the Luhansk region and Hiunivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
According to the General Staff, Ukraine also attacked Russian troops in the areas of Kurakhove, Kalynove, Shevchenko, and Stupochky in the Donetsk region, Novohryhorivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Iskra in the Russian Kursk region.
“Further investigation has confirmed that on June 5, 2026, eight fuel storage tanks were destroyed and nine were damaged in the vicinity of the Port of Mariupol in the Donetsk region,” the headquarters says.
