Russian attacks on five Dnipropetrovsk Oblast gas stations kill 1, injure 3
Russian forces struck Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight into July 1, targeting local gas stations and killing one woman while injuring three others, regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha reported.
Equipment was damaged at all five gas stations, and fires broke out.
One woman was killed in the strikes, while three others were injured, he said. One of the wounded women was hospitalized, while two others were treated and released for outpatient care.
Air defenses shot down 11 Russian drones over the region overnight, Hanzha added.
In recent months, Russian forces have increasingly focused their strikes in Ukraine on gas stations in front-line regions. Similar attacks on fuel stations have also been reported in the Kharkiv and Sumy oblasts.
