Ukraine strikes major Russian oil refinery in Ryazan overnight
Ukrainian forces struck the Ryazan oil refinery, one of Russia's largest, overnight into July 29, Ukraine's General Staff reported.
The Ryazan refinery has a capacity of about 17 million tons of oil per year and produces gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation gas, and other petroleum products used, among other things, to supply Russia's military-industrial complex and armed forces, according to the General Staff.
The General Staff also reported striking a base for fast attack boats of Russia's Black Sea Fleet near Mizhvodne, in occupied Crimea, as well as a radar station near Pochep, in Russia's Bryansk Oblast.
OSINT channels also reported a strike on another Russian refinery, Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez, in Perm, saying one of its units was on fire.

View in Telegram.A separate Wildberries logistics center near Ryazan also caught fire overnight. Amid the attacks, Fire Point founder Denys Shtilierman posted a series of photos on social media that morning showing a missile and drones, without providing further details.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the attacks on the refinery and logistics center in Ryazan, the refinery in Perm Krai, and an export terminal and military enterprise in Rostov Oblast.
