Another Wildberries warehouse burns in Volgograd after drone attack; fire also reported in Tatarstan
A logistics facility belonging to Russian online retailer Wildberries caught fire in Volgograd during a Ukrainian attack, and another blaze was also reported at a Wildberries site in Tatarstan, according to Russian media and monitoring channels.
Wildberries itself confirmed the fire at the Volgograd logistics site, according to Russian state-aligned news agency RIA Novosti.
The company said no one was injured in the strike, but that receiving and shipping orders would be redirected to other facilities.
Russian Telegram channel Astra reported that, in addition to the Wildberries warehouse, the Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka refinery was also hit in Volgograd. Regional Gov. Andrei Bocharov had confirmed a fire “at an industrial enterprise in the fuel and energy complex.”

Since July 18, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have attacked a number of warehouses belonging to the Russian marketplace Wildberries, including in the Moscow, Tambov and Ryazan oblasts, the Krasnodar and Stavropol krais, St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast, as well as in Yekaterinburg, Penza Oblast and Udmurtia.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has described the campaign as a response to Russian strikes on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure. According to him, the facilities were used to supply sanctioned components for the production of drones and navigation equipment.
