Ukraine strikes major Russian oil refinery and Black Sea terminal, General Staff says
Ukrainian forces struck a major oil refinery in Russia's Tatarstan and an oil terminal in Krasnodar Krai on Aug. 19 and overnight on Aug. 20, Ukraine's General Staff reported.
A strike was recorded at the TANECO refinery in Nizhnekamsk, one of Russia's largest oil refining complexes, with an annual processing capacity of more than 16 million metric tons of crude oil.
The facility produces diesel, aviation fuel, gasoline and other petroleum products.
Ukrainian defense company Fire Point said one of its FP-1 drones was used in the attack.

View in Telegram.Ukraine's General Staff also reported a strike on the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal in Volna, Krasnodar Krai, where a fire broke out.
The Taman transshipment complex has an annual capacity of up to 19.9 million metric tons of oil, petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gases. According to the General Staff, the terminal handles transfers of oil and petroleum products from rail to sea and also supplies fuel for the Russian military.
The extent of the damage at both facilities is still being assessed.
Earlier, Nizhnekamsk Mayor Radmir Belyaev reported a large-scale drone attack on the area.
