Russian airstrikes hit Kramatorsk, injuring at least 24
Russian forces launched eight strikes on Kramatorsk in eastern Ukraine on Aug. 25, apparently using guided aerial bombs, injuring at least 24 people, including a two-month-old baby, regional authorities said.
The strikes primarily hit residential areas, damaging at least 34 apartment buildings, according to Donetsk Oblast Governor Vadym Filashkin.
Three administrative buildings and an infrastructure facility were also damaged.
Emergency crews and municipal services are working at the sites, clearing debris and damaged structures. All those injured are receiving medical assistance, Filashkin said.
Kramatorsk, a major city in Ukraine-controlled Donetsk Oblast, has repeatedly come under Russian attacks during the full-scale war.
