Fire reported near Russian oil refinery after drone attack in Krasnodar Krai
A fire broke out at an industrial facility in southern Russia's Krasnodar Krai following a drone attack overnight on November 6, with reports suggesting that the Afipsky oil refinery may have been hit.
The regional emergency headquarters said falling drone debris had caused a fire at an unnamed enterprise in the settlement of Afipsky, in the Seversky district.
No injuries were reported, and emergency services were working at the site, according to local authorities. Drone fragments also reportedly damaged a window in a low-rise apartment building.
Meanwhile, videos circulating on social media showed a large fire, which Telegram channel Exilenova+ identified as the Afipsky oil refinery. The location of the fire has not been independently confirmed.
