US representatives visited Ukraine to observe naval drones. Kyiv offers a strategic partnership
The US delegation met with Ukrainian manufacturers and conducted the first official tests of Ukrainian naval drones, says Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence.
Representatives of the US Navy and the Pentagon made two visits to Ukraine to familiarise themselves with Ukrainian naval drones and conduct the first official tests.
The American delegation studied the technical capabilities of a number of platforms and held meetings with Ukrainian manufacturers.
Ukraine’s Defence Ministry offered the American side “solutions that have already proven their effectiveness in special operations and combat conditions.”
“Ukraine offers the US a strategic partnership. Ukraine's defence industry is shaping the global market for unmanned systems and integrating into the global security architecture through its experience of modern warfare,” the ministry said.
