Russian drone strike kills 1 in Odesa
Russian forces struck Odesa with drones overnight into Monday, killing a 35-year-old man and injuring two other people, including a 19-year-old woman, Odesa city military administration head Serhiy Lysak, Odesa Oblast Military Administration head Oleh Kiper, and the State Emergency Service reported.
Emergency responders attempted to resuscitate the man but were unable to save him. Both injured victims are receiving necessary medical care.
In Odesa’s Primorskyi district, civilian infrastructure was damaged.
Preliminary reports indicate 21 apartments in residential buildings were affected, fires broke out on the roof of a multi-story building, and a gas pipeline was damaged. Two cars were destroyed by fire and six more were damaged by debris.
