Russian strike hits apartment building in Dnipro, injuring five people

Russian forces attacked a multi-story residential building in Dnipro on Thursday, causing fires on the second and third floors and injuring five people, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha reported.

Air Force Command had earlier warned of a group of Russian drones moving toward the city, and Hanzha confirmed that air defenses were active in Dnipro at the time of the strike.

This is the second Russian attack on residential areas of Dnipro in recent days. On March 24, a strike damaged a 14-story building, along with seven other apartment buildings and two kindergartens.

That attack injured 13 people, including three children. A 1.5-year-old boy who sustained moderate injuries is now receiving outpatient treatment.
