Russian drone strikes minibus in Nikopol, killing 3 and injuring 16

Russian troops struck a civilian minibus with an FPV drone in central Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, on Tuesday morning, killing three people and injuring 16 others, Ukraine’s Interior Ministry reported.

As of 11:15 a.m., three people are known to have died. The number of injured has risen to 16, half of whom have been hospitalized.

The minibus was approaching a stop in the city center when it was hit; passengers were both inside the vehicle and waiting at the stop.

“This was not a random strike. This is deliberate terror against civilians — against people simply going about their daily business,” said regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha.

Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said emergency crews and medics responded immediately and managed to free and rescue seven people from the wreckage.
