Ukraine strikes Slavyansk ECO oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai – General Staff
Overnight into Monday, Ukrainian Defense Forces units struck infrastructure at the Slavyansk ECO oil refinery in the city of Slavyansk-na-Kubani, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, according to Ukraine’s General Staff.
Attack drones hit the refinery premises, with explosions recorded in the target area. Preliminary information indicates damage to elements of the primary oil processing unit. The scale of damage is being clarified.
The Krasnodar Krai Operational Headquarters reported that debris from a UAV fell on the territory of two enterprises in the city of Slavyansk-na-Kubani, causing fires. One person was injured and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
“The plant’s annual possible processing capacity exceeds 4 million tons of oil. This facility is part of Russia’s energy rear and is involved in supplying the aggressor’s armed forces,” the General Staff noted.
In addition, warehouses of material and technical support for occupier units were struck in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast (Donetsk city) and Zaporizhzhia Oblast (Solodkovodne village).
To weaken the enemy’s’ offensive capabilities, Defense Forces also struck:
- a UAV control point of an enemy unit near Velyka Novosilka (temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast);
- enemy personnel clusters near Yunakivka (temporarily occupied territory of Sumy Oblast) and Kolisnykivka (temporarily occupied territory of Kharkiv Oblast).
The number of killed and wounded Russians is being established.
