Russian drone strikes shopping center in Kharkiv, killing one and injuring five

A Russian drone struck a shopping center in Kharkiv on August 27, killing one person and injuring five others, Ukrainian emergency services and regional prosecutors reported.

The drone hit an Epicentr K shopping center in the city’s Osnovianskyi district, causing significant damage to the building and sparking a fire covering about 300 square meters (3,200 square feet).

The five injured people include three women and two men. The fire has since been extinguished, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.

Kharkiv regional prosecutors said the shopping center was struck by a Geran-4 Seeker drone.
