Drone attack sets massive Wildberries warehouse ablaze in Russia; oil refinery reportedly targeted
A drone attack sparked a massive fire at a Wildberries logistics center in Russia’s Tambov Oblast overnight on Aug. 26, while Russian monitoring channels reported a possible attack on a major oil refinery in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
Tambov Oblast Governor Yevgeny Pervyshov confirmed the drone attack, saying a fire broke out at the Wildberries logistics center in the city of Kotovsk. The blaze covered more than 100,000 square meters.

View in Telegram.Wildberries also confirmed the attack on its warehouse in Kotovsk and said the facility had temporarily stopped accepting new deliveries. The logistics center, which began operating in 2025, was designed to store up to 54 million items once fully operational.
