Russia strikes boiler house in Kharkiv Oblast, leaving 16,000 without heating
Russian forces struck the Lozova territorial community in Kharkiv Oblast on Wednesday evening, knocking out the city’s largest boiler house serving nearly 16,000 subscribers and temporarily disrupting water supply, Mayor Sergiy Zelenskiy reported.
Zelenskiy said emergency crews worked through the night to preserve networks and restore heating amid subzero temperatures.
Water supply was fully restored by this morning, with utilities now equalizing pressure to reach upper floors.
