Russian drones strike Izmail port, damaging civilian ship and infrastructure
Russian forces attacked maritime infrastructure in the port of Izmail in Odesa Oblast with strike drones, damaging a civilian vessel under the Panamanian flag, a pier, a barge and port equipment, the regional military administration and the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development reported.
Several hits were recorded on the port territory. No casualties were reported.
Despite the attack, the critical infrastructure facility continues stable operations. Emergency and recovery work is already underway at the site.
Additionally, a service station building was destroyed in the strikes, causing a fire that destroyed two passenger buses and seven cars.
