Russian drone strike on Dnipro kills one, injures 11 people
Russian forces attacked the Dnipro district with drones, killing one person and injuring 11 others, according to the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration and the regional council.
Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council Mykola Lukashuk confirmed one fatality. Local Telegram channels report that the victim was a woman.
As of 12:24 p.m., the number of injured has risen to 11, with five of them hospitalized.
A 65-year-old man is in serious condition. Two women, aged 43 and 54, are in moderate condition. A 59-year-old man received medical assistance on the spot.
As a result of the attack, one bus and two passenger cars were destroyed, while eight other vehicles were damaged. A store and a multi-story apartment building were also hit. A fire broke out at the site of the attack but was extinguished by rescuers.
