Russian airstrike on Pavlohrad kills 2, injures 13

Russian forces carried out an airstrike on the city of Pavlohrad in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, killing two people and injuring 13 others, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.

The strike damaged a multi-story residential building, where fires broke out in several apartments. Cars also caught fire.

During firefighting efforts, emergency crews rescued 10 people, including two children.

Authorities said two people were known to have been killed and 13 injured, though the figures were not final.

11 of the injured were hospitalized in moderate condition, while two others will be treated as outpatients. Among those hospitalized is a 13-year-old girl.
