Ukraine destroys two Russian pontoon bridges in Donetsk, hits command post in Kursk Oblast

Ukrainian Defense Forces struck two Russian pontoon bridges in Donetsk Oblast and a command observation post in Russia's Kursk Oblast on Monday, targeting infrastructure used to move troops and weapons, Ukraine's General Staff reported.

Ukrainian forces struck a Russian command observation post near Tyotkino in Kursk Oblast, as well as UAV control points near Oleksandrivka in Kherson Oblast and Bilovody in Sumy Oblast, according to the General Staff.

Ukrainian forces additionally struck Russian troop clusters near Sichnevе in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and Rodynske in Donetsk Oblast.

In related operations on May 18 and 19, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck two Russian oil facilities in the Nizhny Novgorod and Yaroslavl oblasts, hitting a major refinery and an oil pumping station.

The targeted Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez plant is one of Russia's largest oil refineries, with a processing capacity of approximately 17 million tons of oil per year.

"The plant produces gasoline, diesel and aviation fuel used to meet the needs of Russian occupation forces," the General Staff said.
