Russian oil refinery near Kaluga catches fire at night (VIDEO)
The Pervy Zavod oil refinery was set alight in Russia’s Kaluga Oblast overnight, local media reported.

The governor of Kaluga Oblast, Vladimir Shapsha, acknowledged the fact of the fire — he said that the blaze had already been extinguished and that the amount of damage to the enterprise's infrastructure was now being assessed.
The mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, said that at night, a drone also flew toward the Russian capital, but it was shot down in the city's Podolsky district. According to preliminary data, there were no damages or casualties at the place where the debris fell.
Previous fires at Russian refineries
On May 9, a number of drones attacked an oil depot in the village of Yurovka in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation. According to hromadske, it was an SBU security service operation. The affected oil depots are important for the supply of fuel to the Russian troops in the occupied Crimea, as they are located near the peninsula.
