Ukrainian intelligence reports explosion near Russian military unit in Khabarovsk
On Monday, an explosion occurred near military unit 6912 in Khabarovsk, Russia, whose personnel were directly involved in aggression against Ukraine, a source in Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate told hromadske.
According to the source, around 9:00 a.m., two explosive devices detonated in a parking lot near the military unit as Russian soldiers were arriving for duty.
The blasts resulted in deaths and injuries among Russian soldiers.
Local authorities and Russian media did not report the incident.
Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence stated that Russian special services blocked mobile internet and altered public transport routes in the area to prevent residents from learning about the event.
Soldiers from unit 6912, part of the 748th Separate Operational Purpose Battalion of the Russian National Guard (Rosgvardia), participated in the war against Ukraine, with documented losses in battles near Kyiv, including Bucha and Irpin, in early 2022.
