Fire erupts at Russian oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai after drone attack
A fire engulfed a tank at the Ilysky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai after Ukrainian drone attacks, while Russian-installed authorities in occupied Sevastopol reported one of the longest drone barrages in recent months, with more than 24 drones downed overnight into Tuesday, Russian officials and regional authorities reported.
The Krasnodar Krai operational headquarters confirmed damage to a petroleum products reservoir at the Ilysky refinery, with the blaze covering about 700 square meters (7,535 square feet).
72 firefighters and 21 pieces of equipment, including a fire train, were deployed to extinguish it.
Drone wreckage fell in Ilsky village, damaging four private homes and injuring two people. Debris also struck a locomotive depot building and railway tracks at the hamlet of Krasny, with no injuries reported there.

View in Telegram.In occupied Sevastopol, appointed governor Mikhail Razvozhayev called it “one of the longest attacks” in recent times. Russian air defenses operated throughout the night, downing more than 24 drones.
Preliminary reports indicated one child was injured by glass fragments from a shattered window, and several apartment buildings and private homes sustained damage.
The head of Russia’s Udmurt Republic, Alexander Brechalov, reported a drone threat, warning schoolchildren and students to stay at home and halting public transport in Izhevsk.

View in Telegram.A drone danger regime was also declared in Tatarstan, where Kazan and Nizhnekamsk (Begishevo) airports temporarily suspended arrivals and departures. Local Telegram channels reported explosions heard in Kazan.
Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed its forces destroyed or intercepted 76 Ukrainian drones overnight:
- 26 over the Black Sea;
- 24 over Krasnodar Krai;
- 15 over the Sea of Azov;
- 6 over occupied Crimea;
- 2 over Belgorod Oblast;
- 2 over Voronezh Oblast;
- 1 over the Republic of Adygea.
