Zelenskyy signs "white business club" bill into law
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, signed the law on amendments to the Tax Code, which provide for the peculiarities of tax administration for businesses that voluntarily and conscientiously pay taxes, according to the card of Law No. 11084 on the website of the Ukrainian parliament.
The authors of the bill claimed that in the conditions of martial law, an honest business that continues to work and pay taxes needs a partnership approach from the state.
Therefore, the lawmakers proposed to introduce a list of taxpayers with a high level of voluntary compliance with tax legislation, who will have a number of advantages in tax administration during martial law.
The list will include legal entities and sole proprietors, residents of Diia.City, who will meet a number of requirements and criteria taking into account the taxation system (in particular, requirements for the level of tax payment, requirements for the level of salary calculation, etc.);
Among the advantages of the "white business club" are:
- moratorium on documentary checks, except for some types;
- shortening the terms of office audits and document checks for the purposes of budget compensation;
- shortening the terms of providing individual tax consultations;
- a compliance manager is assigned to the taxpayer, with whom the taxpayer will be able to interact, in particular using means of remote communication, such as in video conference mode.
