Russian strike hits Ukrainian publisher's warehouse, disrupts November book releases
A Russian strike hit a warehouse belonging to Ukrainian publishing house Klub Simeinoho Dozvillia (KSD), disrupting plans to release new books in November, the company said on October 27.
No employees were injured, the publisher said.
KSD, whose name translates as Family Leisure Club, said it was still assessing the damage and could not yet determine how the attack would affect its operations.
The company had planned to begin releasing its November titles on November 5, but said the consequences of the strike would inevitably affect that schedule.
It has postponed announcements of the upcoming releases until it has a clearer picture of the damage.
"We do not yet have all the information, but we will monitor developments and share updates as quickly as possible," the publisher said.
The strike comes after another Ukrainian publisher, Knyholav, reported damage to its warehouse in a Russian attack earlier this month.
