Per previous data, the Ukrainian military managed to destroy the command post of the 810th Separate Guards Naval Infantry Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet (military division 13140, Sevastopol). As a result, 3 officers of the brigade command staff were killed, and 14 were wounded, including:
- Acting Commander of the 810th Separate Guards Naval Infantry Brigade, Colonel Yan Sukhanov — seriously wounded;
- Acting Commander of the 382nd Separate Naval Infantry Battalion, Major Leonid Smirnov — seriously wounded;
- Captain Andrey Bushmin, Chief of Communications of the 810th Separate Guards Naval Infantry — seriously wounded;
- Lieutenant Colonel Alexei Teremkov, commander of the 542nd Air Assault Battalion — seriously wounded;
- Commander of the howitzer self-propelled artillery battery of 546th separate howitzer self-propelled artillery division, Captain Victor Ershov — seriously wounded (got his arm blown off).
Since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine and as of the morning of May 18, Russia has lost approximately 28,300 personnel, including 400 in the last 24 hours.
