Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed Russian command post, killing 3 officers and injuring 14

Artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the command post of the Russian Black Sea Fleet brigade, killing 3 officers and injuring 14, reports Strategic Communications Directorate of Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Per previous data, the Ukrainian military managed to destroy the command post of the 810th Separate Guards Naval Infantry Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet (military division 13140, Sevastopol). As a result, 3 officers of the brigade command staff were killed, and 14 were wounded, including:

• Acting Commander of the 810th Separate Guards Naval Infantry Brigade, Colonel Yan Sukhanov — seriously wounded;
• Acting Commander of the 382nd Separate Naval Infantry Battalion, Major Leonid Smirnov — seriously wounded;
• Captain Andrey Bushmin, Chief of Communications of the 810th Separate Guards Naval Infantry — seriously wounded;
• Lieutenant Colonel Alexei Teremkov, commander of the 542nd Air Assault Battalion — seriously wounded;
• Commander of the howitzer self-propelled artillery battery of 546th separate howitzer self-propelled artillery division, Captain Victor Ershov — seriously wounded (got his arm blown off).

Since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine and as of the morning of May 18, Russia has lost approximately 28,300 personnel, including 400 in the last 24 hours.
