Attack on Kyiv, almost €2 million from Iceland for shells, criminal proceedings against AMCU head: highlights

A former employee of hromadske was killed in the war
On March 22, Mykola Oranskyi, a former equipment engineer at hromadske, was killed in the fighting. He worked with us from 2019 to 2022, and then joined the Armed Forces as a volunteer.
Mykola, 24, was a UAV operator in the 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade and was killed during a combat mission near Robotyne in Zaporizhzhya Oblast.

Attacks on Kyiv and Odesa
On the morning of March 25, air defense forces destroyed two ballistic missiles that Russians were firing at Kyiv. Debris was reported falling in a number of districts of the capital. In particular, part of the building of the Mykhailo Boychuk Kyiv State Academy of Decorative Applied Arts and Design was damaged. There are 10 reported injuries in the city.
In Odesa Oblast, during the Russian attack around midnight on March 25, drone debris damaged a power facility and caused a fire. The Russian military damaged one of Ukrenergo's high-voltage power facilities. Emergency blackouts were introduced in the region.
In the evening, the Russian forces launched a missile attack on the civilian infrastructure of Odesa, injuring four people.

SBU "subtracted" oil production and refining in Russia by 12%
The Security Service of Ukraine has conducted a series of successful operations to destroy oil refineries in Russia. As a result, oil production and refining in Russia was reduced by 12%.
SBU Head Vasyl Malyuk emphasized that the special services work based on the threats and tasks of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Currently, one of the tasks is to "cut off oxygen" to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Criminal proceedings against the head of the Antimonopoly Committee
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office have opened criminal proceedings against the head of the Antimonopoly Committee (AMCU), Pavlo Kyrylenko, under the articles on "declaring false information" and "illicit enrichment."
Earlier, journalists found his family's property and cars worth 70 million hryvnias ($1.78 million).

Poland expects to stop transit of Ukrainian grain
The Polish government hopes that the transit of Ukrainian grain will end after the beginning of April. Negotiations on the licensing system for trade in goods from Ukraine are also underway.
"I would also like to emphasize that as far as grain is concerned, we hope – we have talked to the Ukrainian side about this – that even the transit, primarily of corn and wheat, will practically end after April 1," said Polish Minister of Development and Technology Krzysztof Hetman.
Iceland will provide about €2 million for shells for Ukraine
Iceland has announced that it will financially support the Czech Republic's initiative to purchase ammunition for Ukraine, as well as purchase equipment for the Ukrainian army. The island country will allocate about €2 million for this purpose.
In addition, the Icelandic parliament is currently considering a document with a strategy for long-term support for Ukraine.
