Attack on Ukrainian children in Germany and shelling of Kherson: highlights of September 1

Attack on Ukrainian children
Prosecutors in Germany are investigating the attempted murder of a 10-year-old Ukrainian boy. A group of children was attacked by a man who demanded that they switch to Russian.
The incident took place in the city of Einbeck on 26 August at around 05:40 pm Kyiv time. Police found out that several Ukrainian children were walking near the bridge. An unknown man, aged 30-45, ordered the children to speak Russian. He also claimed that Ukraine had started the war.
According to law enforcement, the man pulled one girl by the hair and then grabbed a 10-year-old boy and threw him over the railing into the canal.
Shelling of Kherson
On September 1, Russian occupiers shelled the city of Kherson at around 12:50 p.m. A man died as a result of the attack. Previously, Russian troops attacked the city with mortars. They hit a private house, resulting in life-threatening injuries to a 34-year-old man.
Reports of bomb threats in Kyiv schools
The Kyiv police received information that all secondary schools in the capital were mined. After checking, the information was not confirmed. The call was false.
