Refutation of reports about sale of electricity
Director General of the energy supply company Yasno Serhiy Kovalenko denied the information that Ukraine still exports electricity to Europe. However, according to him, Ukraine's grid continues to work synchronously with the energy system of Europe, and that is why the power was cut off in part of Moldova on November 23 as a result of damage to the Ukrainian power grids.
Ukraine receives certain volumes of electricity from the systems of European countries and sends the same volumes to the systems of European countries, balancing them, Kovalenko said.
