Azerbaijan's triumph and disclosure of declarations of Ukrainian officials: September 20 highlights

Events in Nagorno-Karabakh
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced the completion of "anti-terrorist measures" in Nagorno-Karabakh. According to him, the country fulfilled all the tasks set and restored its territorial integrity in one day.
The unrecognized "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" agreed to Baku's terms. Now the hostilities should stop, and it is also about the complete disarmament of the Karabakh army and the withdrawal of heavy equipment from the territory of the unrecognized republic.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that Russian servicemen who are on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh as "peacekeepers" came under fire. The soldiers were killed.

The "grain conflict" with Poland continues
The Polish Foreign Ministry has summoned Ukrainian Ambassador Vasyl Zvarych and expressed "strong protest" over Volodymyr Zelenskyy's speech at the UN General Assembly, in which he criticized Poland for imposing a grain embargo.
Ukraine called on Warsaw to put aside emotions and condemned the comparison made by Polish President Andrzej Duda during his visit to New York: he compared Ukraine to a drowning person who grabs for everything and can drag others down with them.
At the same time, Polish Deputy Prime Minister and head of the ruling Law and Justice party Jaroslaw Kaczynski emphasized that Poland would support Ukraine in the war against Russian invasion, despite the dispute over grain exports.
Zelenskyy's speech at the UN Security Council
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed a meeting of the UN Security Council. He stated that the United Nations is in a deadlock over Russian aggression. And, according to him, humanity no longer pins its hopes on the UN when it comes to protecting the sovereign borders of nations.
Zelenskyy called for reforming the UN, in particular, to strip Russia of its veto power and expand the representation of nations in the Security Council, making it “fully accountable to the nations of the world”.

Beating a man in a recruitment center in the Lviv region
Law enforcement officers detained two employees of the Sambir District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (Lviv region) who were beating a man and threatening him with weapons. Investigators found that the victim had been held in the recruitment center for about a week before the public scandal.
The resident of Kharkiv region, who was beaten, tried to illegally travel to Poland. He was detained at the border and then offered to register with the military enlistment office and go to serve, but he refused.
Employees of the Sambir TCR were notified of suspicion of illegal deprivation of liberty and torture. They face up to 10 years in prison.

Defeat of the Black Sea Fleet command post
The Center for Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that on the morning of September 20, the Ukrainian military successfully struck the command post of the Russian Black Sea Fleet near Verkhniosadove near temporarily occupied Sevastopol.
