A car with Russian special services and the military was blown up in occupied Oleshky, Kolomoisky was served a notice of suspicion of embezzling UAH 9.2 billion from PrivatBank, and the Ukrainian military is making progress in areas south of Robotyno. Russians were blown up in a car

In the temporarily occupied town of Oleshky, on the left bank of the Kherson region, a car carrying Russian FSB officers and Russian military personnel was blown up. hromadske's sources in the Security Service of Ukraine reported this and provided a video.

As a result of the explosion, one FSB officer was killed on the spot, and the other is currently in intensive care in a serious condition. Three other soldiers accompanying them in the car were injured. According to sources, the SBU was involved in the explosion.

The issue of women traveling abroad

Fedir Venislavskyi, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and the President's representative in parliament, said that women with medical or pharmaceutical education should be registered for military service as early as 1 October.

Volodymyr Fito, head of the press service of the Land Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said in a comment to Suspilne that there are currently no legal grounds for restricting women's travel abroad, and there is no procedure for checking whether a woman is liable for military service.

New suspicion for Kolomoisky

The former ultimate beneficial owner of PrivatBank, Ihor Kolomoisky, and 5 other former employees of the bank have been served with a notice of suspicion in the case of misappropriation of over UAH 9.2 billion of the bank's funds.

Earlier, on the morning of 2 September, law enforcement officers served Ihor Kolomoisky with a notice of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code: fraud and money laundering.

Defence Forces' successes

Ukrainian defense forces have made gains in the areas south of Robotyne and west of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia region, and are consolidating their positions, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported.

Currently, the Ukrainian offensive in the Melitopol sector continues. In the Bakhmut sector, the Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to conduct offensive operations south of the city of Bakhmut, consolidating their positions.
