Breach of Russian defense in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, new details of attack on Russian Black Sea Fleet HQ: highlights

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have broken through the defense of Russian troops near the village of Verbove, Zaporizhzhya Oblast. Breakthrough of Russian defense in southern Ukraine
Tavria commander General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi said that his forces had broken through the defense of the Russian occupation forces near the village of Verbove in Zaporizhzhya Oblast.
The troops continue to advance, albeit slower than expected, the commander said.
In the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is noted that in the Zaporizhzhya sector, enemy attacks in the areas of Robotyne and Verbove resulted in significant losses for the occupiers in both manpower and equipment.
New details of the attack on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that at the time of the attack on September 20, the Russians were holding a meeting of the fleet's leadership at the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet. The special operation of the Special Forces in Sevastopol was called "Crab Trap".
According to the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, at least nine Russian servicemen were killed in the Ukrainian strike. Another 16 occupiers were wounded, including generals.
Among the wounded are the group's commander, Colonel General Aleksandr Romanchuk, who is in a very serious condition, and the chief of staff, Lieutenant General Oleg Tsekov, who is currently unconscious.
Another rally in Kyiv
In the morning, protesters gathered for the second time in front of the Kyiv City Council to protest against wartime spending. This time, in addition to allocating more money for the army, other demands were added. The protesters also demanded ramps to shelters, hospitals, and shelters in schools and kindergartens.
The authorities promised that UAH 120 million ($3.3 million) would be allocated from the city budget for ramps to shelters this week.
MPs have mandates but do not attend the Rada
The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, named five MPs who, according to him, still have a mandate but do not appear in parliament.
The list includes the following MPs:
- Anzhelika Labunska (Batkivshchyna faction);
- Ihor Palytsia (For Future parliamentary group);
- Stepan Ivakhiv (For Future parliamentary group);
- Fedir Khrystenko (banned party Opposition Platform);
- Serhiy Shakhov (Dovira parliamentary group).
Stefanchuk said that he periodically sends letters to these MPs and asks them to come to work, but he cannot deprive them of their mandate for absenteeism.
