President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's motorcade got into an accident in Kyiv, his spokesman Sergiy Nykyforov said.
According to him, a car collided with the president's car and the cars of his escort. Zelenskyy was examined by a doctor — "no serious injuries were found". All the circumstances of the accident should be clarified by law enforcement officers.
Air defense in Kirovohrad Oblast
The Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration reported the successful work of Ukrainian air defense in the area of the Pervozvanivska territorial community. Local residents heard explosions in Kropyvnytskyi around midnight on September 15.
Evacuation from a number of streets in Kryvyi Rih
Residents of a number of streets in Kryvyi Rih are being asked to temporarily evacuate due to the threat of flooding, as the water level in the Inhulets River has risen after Russian missile attacks on a waterworks facility.
Local authorities assure that they control the situation, the liquidation of the accident continues and all necessary services are involved. People are asked to evacuate to avoid "unnecessary risks".
Suspension of payments on public debt
Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko signed a Memorandum on the suspension of payments on public and publicly guaranteed debt with a group of official creditors of Ukraine from the G7 countries and the Paris Club.
The agreement is likely to help mitigate the economic impact of the full-scale Russian invasion.
Financial losses of the Kremlin
Russia has suffered in direct financial losses only hundreds of billions of dollars due to its full-scale invasion of Ukraine and sanctions. This is stated in an internal document of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, which was reviewed by Bloomberg.
According to the document, Russia has lost:
- 300 billion dollars of frozen reserves of the Central Bank;
- 4.6 trillion rubles ($77 billion) of frozen Eurobonds;
- 40% of the stock market capitalization;
- 10% of bank capital;
- 563 billion rubles ($9 billion) of frozen retail assets, as well as assets held in depositories.
Supersonic bomber shot down
Ukrainian military on the southern front continue to improve the tactical situation and destroy the occupiers and their equipment. In particular, another supersonic Russian bomber was destroyed on September 14.
Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 33 enemy troops, 11 Russian tanks, 5 Msta-B howitzers, a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system, 13 armored vehicles, as well as 2 ammunition depots in Mykolaiv and Kherson districts.
Defensive structures in the liberated territories
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that fortifications are being created and improved on the recently liberated Ukrainian lands to protect the territories from recapture.
