#CharlieHebdo: People gather at the French Embassy in Kyiv

A small group gathered in front of the French Embassy in Kyiv on to commemorate the victims of a recent terrorist attack on a French satiric magazine, Charlie Hebdo. Twelve people were killed as a result of the terrorist attack on the magazine. The attack occurred on January 7, 2015 when three terrorists, armed with AK-47s stormed the magazine's main office in Paris. In Kyiv, people brought flowers and candles to the French Embassy, as well as covers of the Charlie Hebdo magazine with an inflammatory cartoon of Prophet Mohammed. The magazine's irreverence towards all religions ran afoul of Islamic extremists for publishing cartoons of Mohammed.
