Climbers Placed A Poppy Wreath On A Giant Monument in Kyiv

Overnight a poppy wreath was placed on the head of the Soviet Motherland Monument in Kyiv for WW2 remembrance day. Ukrainian President Poroshenko introduced the famous urban climber Mustang Wanted to the Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon. Mustang Wanted is the pseudonym of a Ukrainian urban climber and Internet celebrity.
"It's in memory of those who died during the war, the one that was before and the one that is happening now, so that we don't forget about those who died and remember those who still live", – Mustang explained to Ban Ki-moon and the press.
