Death toll in morning Russian missile attack on Odesa grows to 19
The death toll from the missile attack on Odesa on March 15 has risen to 19 people, announced Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin.
He also added that 73 people were injured, including locals, medics, and employees of the State Emergency Service.
"Law enforcement officers and prosecutors are recording the consequences of another insidious war crime by the aggressor. Criminal proceedings have been initiated on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder," Kostin wrote.

Odesa was attacked by two Iskander-M ballistic missiles fired from the temporarily occupied Crimea. A fire broke out at the site of the first hit. Rescuers immediately arrived at the site of the impact and began to extinguish the fire, dismantle the rubble, and search for victims. During the work, Russia launched a second missile strike.
Among the dead are civilians, a rescuer of the State Emergency Service, and a paramedic. Civilians, employees of the State Emergency Service, and emergency services were also injured. In addition, the former first deputy mayor of Odesa, under Hennadiy Trukhanov, Serhiy Tetyukhin, was killed in the strike. According to Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, there were also casualties among the National Police.
Civilian infrastructure was damaged, including residential buildings, outbuildings, and vehicles.
