The situation on the contact line is dynamic and can change literally by the hour. The defense forces are making every effort to hold their positions. In Avdiivka itself, street fighting has been going on for several days in the city's urban areas.
Poroshenko was not allowed to travel abroad again
The leader of the European Solidarity faction, Petro Poroshenko, said that the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, had once again failed to sign an order to let him participate in the Munich Security Conference, explaining this by the threat to Poroshenko's life.
According to the fifth president, intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov informed Stefanchuk that Poroshenko "faces mortal danger" immediately after crossing the Ukraine-Poland border, especially in Munich. That is why he was not let out.
The press service of the Verkhovna Rada called Poroshenko's statements "manipulative." They say that a parliamentary delegation has been formed to participate in the Munich Security Conference, with MP Oleksiy Honcharenko representing the European Solidarity faction.
The Rada has not received any documents confirming Petro Poroshenko's participation in meetings with the EU leadership and leaders of member states, the parliament's press service added.
