Attempted assassination of ex-MP-turned-collaborator Tsaryov
On the morning of October 27, Russian propagandists said that in the occupied Crimea, unknown persons attacked former Ukrainian MP Oleh Tsaryov, who was sentenced in absentia to 12 years in prison in Ukraine.
Tsaryov is allegedly in intensive care and his condition is "very serious." Information about the assassination attempt was confirmed by Tsaryov's family.
A source in the Security Service of Ukraine told hromadske that the attempt on Tsaryov's life was carried out by the Ukrainian special services. According to the source, Tsaryov is "an absolutely legitimate target" and has long been "on the list of traitors who must answer for their crimes."
The hearing in the Tandyr case
On October 27, the Svyatoshynskyi District Court of Kyiv ruled to keep judge Oleksiy Tandyr in custody for 48 days, until December 25, who ran over and killed a National Guard soldier at a checkpoint in Kyiv.
The representative of the victims believes that Tandyr should reimburse, among other things, the costs of educating the children, maintaining them until they reach the age of 18, and housing. That is, what the deceased would have done during his lifetime.
Each of the National Guardsman's parents also asked for 1 million hryvnias ($27,439) in compensation.
In turn, the judge said that he was slowing down before the checkpoint and allegedly took all measures to avoid the collision. According to Tandyr, the State Bureau of Investigation "used his case for PR." And the evidence collected by the SBI is allegedly "fabricated and does not prove his guilt."
The head of the NHSU charged
The head of the National Health Service of Ukraine, Natalia Husak, is suspected of negligence worth 2 million hryvnias ($54,878).
According to the investigation, in April 2022, a specialized state-owned enterprise was commissioned by the NHSU to administer the central database of the electronic healthcare system.
Based on the results of these works, the state-owned enterprise drew up an act of acceptance of services. However, according to law enforcement officers, the head of the NHSU did not properly check the actual work performed and did not take measures to reduce the total amount of the contract.
Aid from Germany
The German government announced a new military aid package to Ukraine. It includes, in particular, the IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile system and ammunition.
Berlin also handed over eight Vector reconnaissance UAVs, four GO12 radars, 5,000 155-mm rounds, and more.
