Explosion in occupied Sevastopol: drone falls on fleet headquarters roof

In occupied Sevastopol, on the morning of August 20, an explosion rang out near the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The occupiers first reported that the drone had crashed into the roof of the headquarters building, and then that it had been shot down.

At first, the explosion and smoke near the fleet headquarters were reported on Telagram channels. Mikhail Razvozhaev, the so-called governor of occupied Sevastopol, said that the drone fell on the roof.

"They were not shot down, although small arms were working in the bay with. It was flying low. There are no victims," ​​he wrote.

Later, the governor changed his version of what happened. After all, the drone was shot down "right over the fleet headquarters", and it fell on the roof and caught fire.

Approaches and entrances to the headquarters of the fleet were blocked. Services are working on site.

According to the occupying administration, there was no serious damage caused by the fall of the drone. However, he urged residents of the city, if possible, to stay at home for the next hour.

Explosions were also heard in Yevpatoria and the village of Zaozerne. The occupation leader of captured Crimea declared that the anti-aircraft system worked and the target was destroyed. According to him, there were no casualties or damage.

Explosions rang out in Kerch on August 18. The local occupation authorities also assured that the anti-aircraft defense was working there. Explosions were also heard in Sevastopol and in the vicinity of the occupiers' military airfield in Belbek. The "governor" of occupied Sevastopol said that an unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down in the vicinity of the Belbek airport, and there were no victims.
