Explosions in Mariupol, Israeli alert system and loan repayment: last night's highlights
At least 11 explosions occurred in temporarily occupied Mariupol, an Israeli warning system is being tested in Kyiv, and the government proposes to simplify the terms of loan repayment for IDPs and residents of regions where hostilities are ongoing. Explosions in Mariupol
On the evening of February 21, explosions occurred in temporarily occupied Mariupol: 11 explosions are known so far. Preliminary, there is information about two hits in the Tsentralnyi and Kalmiuskyi districts of the city.
Israeli warning system
An Israeli early warning system will be tested in Kyiv. Israel is currently working on a pilot project for the capital, and if successful, it can be expanded to other regions.
Ukraine's Ambassador to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk explained that currently, when Russian planes take off, for example, in Belarus, the alarm is announced in all northern regions of Ukraine at once. Israel, on the other hand, has powerful radars that calculate where the missile is flying, and the siren sounds in a specific sector.
Repayment of loans
The government has supported draft laws that would ease the terms of repayment of certain types of consumer loans for IDPs and residents of regions where military operations are underway or temporarily occupied. The draft laws will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada shortly.
Conference on reconstruction
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has confirmed that a conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine will be held in Italy in April. During the conference, Italian companies will provide recommendations on how to restore the destroyed infrastructure.

- As of February 22, Ukrenergo has not imposed any restrictions on electricity consumption. Nevertheless, due to grid restrictions, stabilization outage schedules will be in effect in Odesa and Odesa Raion.
- Albanian police detained a Libyan-flagged ship carrying 22.5 thousand tons of oil under forged documents. Law enforcement officials suspect that the oil was exported from embargoed countries, including Russia.

- Slovakian Foreign Minister Rastislav Káčer spoke harshly about “Putin's collaborators” in the Carpathian region, alluding to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Hungary called Káčer a provocateur and advised him to see a psychiatrist.
