Life in Kherson Oblast

The occupation authorities of Kherson Oblast artificially create unacceptable living conditions for residents and cut off electricity and communication. They do this to force people to leave the region. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian occupants continue to forcibly transfer civilians from the temporarily occupied Kherson region to the territory of the Russian Federation. In particular, they take children and pensioners. According to the General Staff, about 100 children with disabilities were taken from the psychoneurological boarding school in Dnipriany, Kakhovka Raion.

Fourth Summit of Heads of States and Governments

The Council of Europe announced the holding of a summit of heads of state and government - it will be the fourth such event in history. This was reported by Secretary General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejčinović Burić.

She announced that this summit will be a unique opportunity to shape the mission of the organization “in the new European geopolitical architecture”, as well as to increase the visibility of the Council of Europe at the highest political level.

Icelandic Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir said that the 4th Council of Europe Summit will be held in May 2023 in Reykjavik.

It will be an important opportunity for the leaders of the 46 Member States to unite and recommit to the core values of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law,” she wrote.

NASAMS and Aspide systems arrived in Ukraine

NASAMS and Aspide anti-aircraft missile systems have arrived in Ukraine. This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov.

Look who’s here! NASAMS and Aspide air defense systems have arrived in Ukraine! These weapons will significantly strengthen the Ukrainian army and make our skies safer. We will continue to shoot down the enemy targets attacking us,” the minister wrote.

He also thanked Norway, Spain, and the United States for the transfer of these weapons.

Situation in Donetsk Oblast

On the night of November 7, the Russian occupation forces shelled the settlements of Donetsk Oblast. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration Pavlo Kyrylenko.

At dawn, the Russians fired four missiles at Kramatorsk. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. In the Donetsk sector, two people were wounded in Krasnohorivka. Russians killed one person and wounded two others in Bakhmut. Occupants also wounded one resident of Lyman.

Shelling of Sumy Oblast

On the night of November 7, the Russian occupation troops massively shelled the border settlements of Sumy Oblast. More than 200 hits using multiple rocket launchers, self-propelled artillery systems, mortars, and grenade launchers were recorded. This was reported by Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko.

As a result of the shelling of the outskirts of Vorozhba one person was killed and another wounded. A communication building, a railway track, 7 residential buildings, 6 outbuildings, a town cafe, a cemetery, 2 cars, and power lines were damaged.
