On December 6, EU finance ministers discussed a package of laws, in particular on financial assistance to Ukraine. The EU wants to allocate 18 billion euros to help Ukraine cover the budget deficit during 2023.
However, the key vote had to be postponed due to the position of Budapest, which wants a decision for financial assistance to Hungary.

Dangerous packages for Ukrainian embassies
Diplomatic missions of Ukraine in Denmark and Romania also received dangerous packages after incidents with envelopes in several Ukrainian embassies. This was stated by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.
He said that a “campaign of terror and intimidation” was launched against Ukrainian embassies and consulates, but the enemies of Ukraine will not be able to frighten or stop Ukrainian diplomats.
“Everyone who continues to send these packages, terrorize our embassies, please relax and do not waste your time and money on postage stamps. You will not achieve anything with this,” the Minister said.
