"Is Volodymyr Zelenskyy Your President?" - Ukrainians Have Their Say

The nationwide poll may backfire on Volodymyr Zelenskyy. On Sunday he will set a precedent, and as "we are all presidents", his opponents will be free to address the people too. Viktor Medvedchuk may ask about the conditions of peace in the Donbas, Petro Poroshenko may want to find out about the impeachment of the president. And the results of such surveys can be easily manipulated.

Sunday's poll is the talk of the town - both among politicians and ordinary Ukrainians. As an experiment, hromadske conducted its own "presidential poll". Only one question was brought up for discussion: "Is Volodymyr Zelenskyy your president?" At first we enquired of acting MPs, then - of ordinary passers-by. The experiment provided some answers.
