Israel shot down a plane from Syria, and Russia is looking for the murderer of Tatarsky: last night's highlights
Israel said it had shot down an unidentified aircraft traveling from Syria, a resident of St Petersburg was detained in Russia on suspicion of the murder of 'war correspondent' Vladlen Tatarsky, and the German concern Rheinmetall is building a center in Romania to repair weapons from Ukraine. Here is what you may have missed from the previous night.
Search for the killer of 'war correspondent' Tatarsky
Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, denied Kyiv's involvement in the death of Russian 'war corespondent' Vladlen Tatarsky. The Russian Foreign Ministry complained about the “Kyiv regime”, although it did not directly accuse Ukraine.
A little later, a 26-year-old resident of St. Petersburg, Daria Trepova, was detained on suspicion of Tatarsky's murder. She has already been taken to the investigator. Law enforcement officials suspect that it was she who brought a box with a statuette containing explosives to the meeting with Tatarsky.
According to Russian media, Trepova was detained twice in February 2022 at anti-war rallies. Russian special forces have also arrived at the girl's home to search.

Nuclear weapons of the Russian Federation on the border with the West
Russia's ambassador to Minsk, Boris Gryzlov, said that his country will deploy nuclear weapons on the western border of the Union State, which includes Russia and Belarus.
“It will be moved to the western borders of our Union State and will increase the ability to guarantee our security. This will be done despite the noise in Europe and the United States,” Gryzlov said.
Service center in Romania
The German concern Rheinmetall is building a maintenance and logistics center in Romania, near the border with Ukraine.
Initially, the hub will be used to maintain Western combat systems for Ukraine, such as Leopard 2. In the future, Rheinmetall plans to maintain and repair weapons from Ukraine, such as battle tanks and self-propelled howitzers.
