Out of the Line of Fire: from Donbas to Kharkiv.

Over 25,000 people left war-torn areas of the Donbas region via the Kharkiv Train Station. At the station, a group of volunteers and members of Ukraine's Emergency State Service and Social Services is ready to assist those who arrived from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions where fighting has displaced over 500,000 people by conservative estimates. Kharkiv is located to the north of fighting and the Kharkiv Oblast has remained under control of the Ukrainian government throughout the conflict in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
