This was announced by Deputy Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko on Facebook.

"His condition is satisfactory. He continues to carry out his duties remotely,” Gerashchenko wrote.

He specified that the head of the Kyiv police and his family members had not been abroad during the last month.

According to Gerashchenko, police have already identified a number of people who have contacted Kryshchenko during the incubation period. All of them have been informed about the potential risk of the disease and are now in isolation.

In addition to Kryshchenko, two more police officers and one cadet had their positive coronavirus diagnosis confirmed today.

As of the morning of March 27, 532,263 cases of coronavirus were officially recorded in the world, 24,090 patients died, and 124,349 made recoveries.

According to the Ministry of Health, 218 cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Ukraine, 5 of which were lethal, whilst 4 people recovered.

A 71-year-old woman died in the Zhytomyr region, two women: a 56-year-old woman and another woman, whose age has not yet been specified by the Ministry of Health, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, a 33-year-old female in the Chernivtsi region, as well as a 68-year-old man in the Ternopil region.

At the same time, four infected people have been cured of COVID-19. They are all from the Chernivtsi region.
