Largest military aid package from Swede, scattered grain on Polish border: higlights for February 20

The Swedish government will allocate $682 million in military aid to Ukraine, and Polish farmers spilled Ukrainian grain from a freight car. We have collected the main news for February 20.
Assistance to Ukraine from Sweden
The Swedish government will allocate a $682 million military aid package for Ukraine. This is the 15th and largest package from this country.
Sweden will send to Ukraine a CB90-class fast landing boat, RBS 70 portable anti-aircraft missile systems, artillery ammunition worth two billion kronor, anti-tank equipment, grenade launchers, hand grenades, and medical transport.
The aid package also includes 1 billion kronor ($96.5 million) to enable Ukraine to order new Swedish CV 90 infantry fighting vehicles.
Situation on the border with Poland
On February 20, Polish farmers blocked the railroad near the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint. There they poured Ukrainian grain out of a freight car. Ukrzaliznytsia reported that the grain cargo was in transit through Poland to Germany.
Roman Kondrów, a co-organizer of the Polish farmers' protest, said that the protesters were dumping the grain "out of emotion" because "people are desperate and cannot control themselves."
Car explosion in Odesa
On the evening of February 19, a car exploded in the village of Hvardiyske, Odesa district. A woman and a man were injured: Albert and Natalia Kruchynin, members of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army.
Today, the commander of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, Dmytro Yarosh, responded to the incident. Albert is now in a coma, and his wife is in serious condition and has a severe concussion.
Execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war
Near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhya Oblast, Russians shot three captured Ukrainian defenders. Law enforcement officials have launched an investigation.
According to the DeepState project, the soldiers of the 3rd Operational Brigade "Spartan" of the National Guard were at the point where the shooting took place.
Ukraine returns abducted children
Ukraine has managed to return 11 children abducted from its territory to Russia or held in occupied territories.
Among them are six girls, including two twin two-year-old sisters, and five boys. The youngest returned child is 2 years old, and the oldest is 16.
Another Ukrainian basketball player dies in Germany
Ukrainian basketball player Artem Kozachenko, who was stabbed by German teenagers, died in hospital on February 20. Earlier, his friend Volodymyr Yermakov died from the attack.
After being wounded, the boy was in intensive care. However, in recent days, his condition has deteriorated sharply, and doctors were unable to save him.
