Massive Russian attack, damage to Russian warships in Sevastopol: highlights for March 24

Russian troops massively attacked Ukraine on the night of March 24 and in the morning, causing power outages in the regions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit two large Russian landing warships in occupied Sevastopol. Ukrainian Army Commander Oleksandr Pavliuk said that criticizing the actions of the military commissariats could contribute to Ukraine's defeat in the war.
Russia's attack
On the night of March 24, air defense forces shot down 18 out of 29 Russian missiles and 25 out of 28 Shahed attack drones over Ukraine. A critical infrastructure facility was attacked in Lviv Oblast. In the Nikopol district, the wreckage of a downed drone damaged a power facility.
In the morning, air raid alerts were sounded again in almost all regions of Ukraine. In Lviv Oblast, there were two hits on the same critical infrastructure facility that the Russians targeted at night. In addition, the sounds of explosions were heard in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.
The situation in Kharkiv is the most difficult as a result of the attack. Russians destroyed all transformer substations in the eastern Ukrainian city.
It is also known that Naftogaz's ground infrastructure and the port infrastructure of the Danube region were damaged as a result of Russian attacks.
Ukrainian Armed Forces hit Russian warships in Sevastopol
On the night of March 24, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully attacked two large landing ships Yamal and Azov of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol. They also managed to hit a communications center and several infrastructure facilities of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
The occupation "authorities" called the attack on Sevastopol "the most massive in recent times." It is claimed that one person was killed and four others were wounded.

Losses from the latest blows to the energy sector
Ukrenergo CEO Volodymyr Kudrytskyi said that the damage caused by the latest missile strikes is estimated at 90-100 million euros.
In particular, DTEK lost 50% of its electricity generation facilities as a result of the strikes on the energy infrastructure on March 22. It was the most massive attack on power supply facilities in the entire period of the full-scale war.
Russia launched hundreds of bombs, missiles and Shahed UAVs in one week
During the week of March 18-24, Russian troops used almost 190 missiles of various types and 140 Shahed drones, as well as about 700 guided bombs against Ukraine.
According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian military is already shooting down some of the missiles and most of the Shaheds.
