The United States strongly condemns Russia's latest missile attacks on Ukraine. This is stated in a statement by Advisor to President Jake Sullivan.

He noted that while world leaders are meeting at the G20 summit in Bali to discuss the lives and livelihoods of people around the world, Russia is once again threatening lives and destroying critical infrastructure in Ukraine.

Sullivan stressed that the United States and other allies and partners will continue to provide Ukraine with everything it needs to defend itself, including air defense systems.

We will be with Ukraine as long as it takes,” he stressed.

Zelenskyy addressed the G20 Leaders Summit

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the G20 Leaders Summit and proposed 10 steps to peace, which provides for the restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity. The President's speech was published by the Office of the President.

Zelenskyy said that he wants a fair end to the Russian-Ukrainian war: on the basis of the UN Charter and international law, and not by any means. Therefore, the President proposed the “Ukrainian formula for peace”:

  1. Radiation and nuclear safety.
  2. Food security.
  3. Energy security.
  4. Release of all prisoners and deportees.
  5. Implementation of the UN Charter and restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
  6. Withdrawal of Russian troops and cessation of hostilities.
  7. The need for immediate protection of nature.
  8. Prevention of escalation.
  9. Fixing the end of the war.

The President assures that the implementation of each of these steps cannot take much time: “Maximum a month for one item. For some, days are enough”.
